SCAN 39 is tall and elegant. The curved combustion chamber gives a full view of the flames from many sides. Environmentally friendly combustion With a SCAN wood-burning stove you will get a sophisticated combustion system developed to meet the very strictest environmental requirements. Of course, we meet all relevant environmental and safety standards requirements, not just in Denmark, but world-wide. Therefore Krog Iversen & Co. A/S is the manufacturer which has obtained approval for the widest range of stoves in the largest number of countries. Heat from wood-burning stoves is environmentally friendly. The temperature in the combustion chamber will rise to more than 825°C, which reduces harmful emissions to an absolute minimum. The logs emit the same amount of carbon dioxide as wood decomposing in the forests. In other words, the process is CO2 neutral - and therefore environmentally neutral.
